Who installs and supports a Greenline system

Every Greenline system is designed, installed, commissioned and supported from Dalby. The crew who do that work will be on Booths 5–6 at BeefEx 2026, 22–24 September, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Greenline is automated livestock feeding: accurate batching, consistent delivery, and less labour. The part that decides whether a system is worth owning is not on the spec sheet. It is who designs the system for your yard, who commissions it, and who answers the phone when something stops.

Designed for the yard you have

Every system starts with a conversation about the operation. How many head you are feeding, what the bunk layout looks like, what the ration is, where the day goes, and which part of feeding is costing you the most at the moment. The system is modular, so the answer is rarely all of it at once. Most operations start with the part that solves the biggest problem and add to it as the yard is ready.

Installed and commissioned by the same team

The commodity boxes and the auger floor conversions are ours, designed and manufactured here rather than bought in and badged. The crew who build them are the crew who install them, and commissioning is done by the people who will also be taking your calls afterwards.

The crew who design, install and commission these systems are the ones who answer the phone about them. They will be on Booths 5–6 for all three days.

Supported from Dalby

Service comes from the people who put the system in rather than from a supplier overseas. Support distance is usually the question that decides an automation purchase, because a system that stops at two in the morning is a different problem depending on who you can ring. Commissioning, parts and the people who know your install all sit in the same place. Pete Garrett, a Greenline owner, made the point plainly:

“The most critical thing is, do you have a dealer in Australia? And she’s like, ‘Oh, we’ve got DOM.’ And I’m like, well, that just couldn’t be any easier. DOM’s just down the road.”

What you can see at the show

The interactive demo runs on Booths 5–6 for all three days and puts the whole system on one screen. You can work through receiving, storing, processing, batching and delivering, and see which part would earn its keep first in your yard. The crew who install these systems will be standing next to it, so the conversation can go as far as you want to take it in one visit.
