How the feed reaches the bunk.
The Shuttle Eco collects components from commodity storage, cuts and mixes them in a freefall container that does not mash the ration, then doses by weight against distance travelled as it drives the alley. Routing is by magnets set into the floor, so the path is programmed once and the machine holds it.

One Shuttle Eco is rated to 600 head on fattening rations. Anything larger runs more than one unit, and dispatcher software divides the jobs between them so no unit sits idle and the charging load spreads. That is what sits behind the series sizing. The constraints are worth knowing early, because they shape the civil work rather than the machine. Routing needs a defined running surface and a gradient inside 10%. Most systems' commodity storage holds three to four days of ingredients, so filling becomes a twice-weekly job instead of a daily one. It sizes off your ration and your bulk storage.
