Move more dirt without buying another machine
You already own the truck. The K-Tec 1237 turns it into a scraper. Pull the dump body, bolt on the scraper hitch, and the unit moves 28.3 cubic metres of dirt a pass. When the job changes, the dump body goes back on and the truck returns to haul duty. You add earthmoving capacity without adding a machine to the yard. Contractors in civil earthworks and land levelling run the 1237 to cut cost per cubic metre on the machines already in the shed.
One unit, two jobs
A dedicated scraper sits idle the moment the work changes. The 1237 connects to the articulated dump truck you already run, so one power unit covers the full cycle. Move material through the morning, reinstall the dump body, and put the truck back on haul work after lunch. The fleet does more and you buy less.
Built to keep working
Five grease points. That is the whole grease round. Greaseless bushings carry the rest, so your operator starts the shift in the cut instead of working down a list of nipples. K-Tec builds the 1237 from high-tensile steel, which holds the structure straight under repeat loading and keeps weight down at the same time.
Traction when the ground turns soft
Wet, loose ground costs you cycles when the wheels spin. The 1237's ADT neck transfers 30% of the scraper's weight onto the truck. With the load spread across the truck and scraper, ten tyres carry the unit where a four-tyre motor scraper would bog, so you keep cutting without calling in a push dozer.
Capacity that shortens the cycle
The 1237 holds 28.3 cubic metres heaped and carries a maximum load rating of 39,916 kg. It loads, hauls, and spreads in a single pass, so you run fewer passes to shift the same volume. Fewer passes means shorter cycles and a lower cost per cubic metre moved. Need more per cycle? Two units run as a 1237 ADT train for a tandem heaped capacity of 55 cubic metres.
Backed for the long haul
The 1237 carries a 3-year structural warranty plus 1-year parts and labour cover. The bolt-together design ships in a standard container and assembles on site, so freight stays affordable on the way in and servicing stays simple once it is working. Between earthmoving jobs, the same bowl runs as a 27,000-litre water cart with the bolt-in water cart conversion kit, so the unit keeps earning between cuts.
